IN MEMORY OF FRANK B. SMOOT
The Brotherhood of the Jungle Cock invites you to attend
an informal gathering to honor Frank B. Smoot on
October 7, 2006.Our instructor's and general meeting is held on this day from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM. It is not necessary to attend our general meeting but all are welcome. The gathering will begin after our meeting at approximately 1;30 or 2;00 PM.
This will be a good opportunity to see our new building and mingle with members from other states. If anyone has a few pictures of Frank they would like to share, please feel free to display them. We were fortunate to have Frank attend the 2006 Campfire on May 19th and 20th. On the way home, Frank said he never expected to live to see the BOJC have their own building and was overjoyed to share the sight with his friends. Ten days later on May 30th, Frank passed away at 4:00 AM. He will be missed by all.
Unfortunately, no obituary notice was published due to an error in communication. Frank was cremated and it was the family's wish that donations should be made to the BOJC building fund in memory of Frank. Those who wish to make a contribution, please mail to:

For those who need them, accommodations will be available at camp for Friday and/or Saturday. Since cabins are limited, please call Carl Miller to ensure one is available. You must provide your own linens, blankets and towels.
Please, pass this information on to any interested parties or to anyone you think we may have missed. Ask them to respond to you so you can let Carl Miller or Steve Weinstein know how many will attend the gathering on Saturday.
